What is the Methodist School of Fellowship?

It’s a worshipping Christian community which comes together for a week of holiday, friendship, prayer, worship, thought, listening, learning, reflection, conversation, fun and good food.

It aims to provide the environment, support and stimulation for personal and spiritual refreshment and challenge.

Who is it for?

There is a real mix of people; young, old, lay, ordained, varied backgrounds, different theological perspectives, from all over the country (and sometimes abroad), all sharing together in God’s Love. All prepared to explore in a variety of ways and journey together.

What happens during the week?

Experienced speakers are invited to provide stimulus for conversation through bible study, topic based seminars and workshops

How involved you are is up to you! People are free to participate in as much or as little as they wish. There are bible studies, other inputs, opportunities to share in groups, attend workshops, games (including; cricket, bouncy castles, football, rounders and table tennis), or you may just wish to sit peacefully in the gardens, read or sleep.
